About Dim Sum Pop
The idea of Dim Sum Pop was born out of one designer's wish to create something that brings a smile to people's faces. 'Dim Sum' - literally meaning to 'touch heart' - is a nice touch and has a personal angle as well since he, and a lot of his fellow British Chinese, was brought up on it as one constant, positive reminder of his Chinese identity. Needless to say, you don't have to be Chinese, but you must like dim sum (even just a little bit) to be here.
After recently returning to the UK from 16 months in Hong Kong, it would be shameful to say that the only inspiration gained was 'an idea for some quirky little dim sum badges', so you'll have to trust us when we say there's more.
